Project Description:

SPEC provided planning, engineering, and design services for the development of the West Wilmington Field. The work completed to date includes the installation of over 70 producing and injection wells, nine divert-valve manifolds, 3 motor control centers, and 4 load centers. The planning and design considered the potential development of an additional 100 wells at this site. This is an operating facility located in a highly developed and crowded area in the Port of Long Beach, complicating the planning, design, and construction of the facilities.
